M is for Money

M is for Money

Although part of me is reluctant to promote a book series for kids with odd product tie-ins like gift wrap festooned with “M is for Money” logos in a repeating pattern, I agree with the author’s premise that financial literacy should start young.

Seriously wealthy McMaster University alumnus and philanthropist Teresa Cascioli is currently six books into a nine book series in which the rags-to-riches girl (now woman) shares her advice on managing money with kids aged 5-8 years. The book I’m waiting for is book nine, “Giving is Great.” Stay tuned. Or go to Teresa’s website: www.misformoney.ca (Clearly loonie, when I first read the URL, I thought it said “Misform Money”).
